On this page I'll give you a 'trip' down memory lane... ... ...  My memory lane...

So music and drugs, once again, created a new subculture. I feel very blessed to have been a part of the 'free party' phenomenon - RAVIN'. It all started for me one night when my sister and her boyfriend invited me to a rave in an old aircraft hanger located (somewhere) in the south west of England. I don't actually know where it was as I was only a young nipper and was sleeping most of the way in the car, and I certainly didn't know what to expect when we arrived. It was early hours of the morning when we finally got there and the most vivid memory I have from then was the lasers. Streams of green and blue lights breaking through the cracks in the roof of the old hanger, while, what seemed, an infinitude of people outside rugged-up in trippy attire all moving to the same beats and baselines, chatting and smiling, laughing and strangely friendly, and not caring for the cold or mud around their feet. They were 'ecstatic' and I didn't yet know why. As we approached the entrance I was full of qualms, so scared of what was to come, "Where did my sister bring me?" "What is going on here?" Once I got inside any fears or hesitant feelings I once had just disappeared, with people of all ages and walks of life dancing together as one happy family, something I never thought possible before... The music was hard and fast yet full of emotion and subliminal messages... Think about it... URBAN SHAKEDOWN's - Some Justice ("we are all one family")... We really were... From that day on I was hooked! ... I knew I had to be a part of this forever...
